Mt. Hood

Julie is fascinated by Mt. Hood and Stewy studied Geology in college, so naturally they wanted to get a great view of the mountain. Instead of taking the most direct route back to Corvallis from Hood River, we went aroun the mountain instead. It was worth it. The ladies were in awe and got some breathtaking photos of Mt. Hood.

We made it back to Corvallis in enough time to have a cookout at my place. I invited some super Corvallians to join us. We had a blast. I really enjoyed how my Ohio friends mixed well with the Oregon friends. My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard.

I do have to thank Lauren for making a yummy angel food cake with scrumptious icing and pineapples. It was sooooooo good.

There were great conversations and games, lawn dice and Apples to Apples. Stewy and Steve are now BFFs after bonding over South Park. I'm good at picking friends.
