Julie, Stewy and I traveled to Skamania County Washington to hunt down Bigfoot. By Bigoot, I mean plywood cut outs of the beast posted all over the county. Once we got our map to find 10 different cutouts.
After successfully finding the 10 bigfoots, we headed back to base camp to listen to some experts in the field of the Bigoot phenomenon. It was very informative. We learned that Bigfoot is telepathic and has the ability to control our minds. He could tell us to jump I'm front of a bus if he so wanted. He is also able to turn invisible. He could be reading over your shoulder right now. Be nice to him since he can read your mind and control it.
We stuffed our faces with se delectable sweet treats at the festival. I had a mini Marion berry cheesecake, pb ball and bigfoot cookie. Stewy and Julie shared a caramel apple pie with ice cream. We kept offering bites to the invisible Bigfoot we assumed was sitting next to us.
Once we had our fill of bigfoot expertise, we traveled to Hood River where we were staying for the night.
Of course we needed to reward ourselves with tasty brews at Full Sail. Julie and Stewy fell in love with the session and vowed to get some to put in the hotel fridge for the week. After we got our fill of Full Sail, we decided to check out more of what Hood River had to offer. Double Mountain was too busy, but we did happen upon the Pint Shak. After we had a pint there, we moved on to The Pub, which is nothing like the pub in Beavercreek, OH by the way. Don't worry. I was being responsible and did not drink at the Pub so that I could drive the ladies around.
We were a little distracted by all the hoopla going on downtown. There were police cars, ambulances and firetrucks racing through downtown. On our way to a different bar, the name escapes me, we decided to be kooky loos at the commotion. We didn't see or smell smoke and thus had NO idea what was going on. Dent stop us though as we continued on to the next bar where we sat on the patio to continue watching the emergency response show.
We had enough energy to make it to Double Mountain Brewery that was a little less busy at that point. There wasn't much food in our tummies, so we thought it wise to have a pizza. It was very yummy. I don't know why we ordered one with olives since Stewy and I both dislike them, but luckily we could just pick them off and feed them to Julie. She was very happy.
After a crazy day of hunting Bigfoot and tasting delicious beers, we were happy to go to sleep.
