I have been in Oregon for a whole year and it has been one very interesting year.
Good Times:
- PNRFU Playoffs
- Awesome job
- Cousin Jennifer. It was great to reconnect.
- Fun times in the Man Cave
- Winery Tours
- Sweet Cheeks Wine Club
- Suds n Suds Beer Club
- Civil War with Ducks
- Totchos
- Latch Hook Robots, Ignorant Sluts and the Angries
- VooDoo Doughnuts
- El Pres
- Coast, mountains, vineyards. It’s GORGEOUS here!
- Ultimate Frisbee-Fun game and cool people
- Geriatric Jamborees
- Country Fairs
- Food Fights
Bad Times:
- Dysentery
- Rehab..thanks MS
- Home sickness
- Rain. Rain. More Rain.
- No Skyline
- I have an accent apparently….
I’m glad to see that the good times outnumbered the bad times. I believe if I hadn’t spent so much time in a wheelchair, I would have had even MORE pros. I can’t wait to add more to the pro column this coming year.
I made some really great friends! I’m glad that I am a rugger, because no matter where you are, you can find family. The Eugene Reign is a team of AMAZING women, just like my Dayton ladies. Although I’m still not moving as well as I’d like (lack of muscle and balance issues) I hope to get back to scrumming. If I can’t tackle and scrum anymore, I hope to be active on that Ultimate Frisbee team. Those people are loads of fun too. I just have to remember that there is no tackling.
I did Celebrate my anniversary by attending Ultimate Frisbee Friend Rachel's Birthday Food Fight. I'm still picking mustard out of my ear.
