My evening with The Magic Bullet

The Magic Bullet is a personal blender you pervs.

I have wanted one for so long and my dear friend Tara got me one for a going away present.  Today I tried out my personal blender and made some salsa from the ingredients I got at the Corvallis Farmers Market.  The salsa was to be the perfect addition to the black beans I had slow cooking in the crock pot all day.  Bet you didn't think I was such a whiz in the kitchen.  Well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a crock pot or The Magic Bullet.

The infomercial cracks me up.  If you would like to watch it, you can here:  Magic Bullet Infomercial.  It sucks me in every time it's on.

It was a hilarious experiment and I have photos AND video to show you how awesome The Magic Bullet is.

It all started off with the large cup where I added some sherry tomatoes, onions, garlic, jalapeno and some cilantro.  Fresh, organic, locally grown produce.  Mmm mmm mmmmmm!

After I blended the salsa, it looked a little like this:

I don't think it's supposed to look like that.  I actually, I KNOW it's not supposed to look like that.  I think that I got so excited that I let it go a little too long.  It was really pureed and kind of soupy.

Yeah, it looks like some sort of soup.  At least it looks pretty in my Longaberger Pottery that I got from my favorite Longaberger Basket Lady, Angela Murphy. If you would like your very own, I'm sure I could connect you.  I am such a whore when it comes to plugging products like Longaberger and The Magic Bullet. I recommend clicking on my link.  Who knows what you'll find if you google it.

I may or may not have made a video of my Magic Bullet Salsa Experiment.  I may or may not have uploaded said video to YouTube.  Let's be honest friends back in Ohio.  You miss me and want to hear my voice.  I don't feel dorky for videoing my experiment.  I know it will bring a smile to your face.  I may even become a YouTube Phenomena after this.  Magic Bullet Queen.  Actually, they may google that looking for something else.

I have been craving a Tequila Sunrise for sometime now, so I also bought the ingredients to make the drink.  When I got home, I was upset because I probably could have made my own orange juice with The Magic Bullet.  Another lesson learned.

Tequila Sunrise and Soupy Salsa.  Yes, I used the mug that came with my Magic Bullet.  I approve of the mug.  Tasty drink and tasty salsa.  I think it was a successful evening in my Corvallis Kitchen.
