Week one

My first week of school was pretty awesome as I really like the material covered so far and the instructor is very entertaining.  For me, the two hours seem to fly by, but I can’t say that for my classmate Andy.  He doesn’t seem to be so intrigued by marketing as I. 

It is a bit intimidating to be in a classroom with 120+ people and the majority are more than 10 years my junior. The steep stairs in the auditorium lacking railings forces this old, crippled woman into the front row.  Since the students are all behind me, I hardly notice until they talk. So far, they haven’t said anything that forces an eye roll or “Tommy grunt”* out of me.

I enjoy studying and preparing for the next class.  I’m kind of a nerd I suppose.  I am only taking one class this term and can only assume that I wouldn’t be as well organized if I were juggling more classes. Andy is taking more than one class this term, so he’s not as enthused as I am. Although, I was thinking that this term was going to be all about me.

*The Tommy Grunt is when Thomas Jay makes his displeasure known with a grunty mew type noise.
