Christmas 2011

I had a great holiday this year.

Lots of shenanigans happened in the AU house this year and I enjoyed every second of it all.  Steve and Kevin knew I was in a Bah Humbug Mood this holiday season, so they did their part to cheer me up with some sweet Christmas Gifts.  Kevin knows I am a tequila fan (Margaritas and Sunrises are so lovely) so he surprised me with a bottle of Cazadores.  It suits me very well.  Steve got me a little Bengals Gnome that I named Marvin.  He stands guard outside of my bedroom door keeping the ugly 49ers memorabilia far away from me.

Steve and Whitney did some scheming though and came up with THE most incredible Christmas Present.  It was created by the two of them and was truly from the heart.  They made me my very own GINGERVITIS Calendar.  You're  probably wondering what this is.  It's 12 months of Andy Dalton.  I cried from laughing so hard looking at it.  I cannot WAIT until Jan 1 to proudly display it.  Andy is photoshopped into a lot of precarious positions many of which are inside jokes.  My favorite may be the picture of Andy delivering an African American baby.  When I was cracked out on meds earlier in the year, I was convinced that I was pregnant and was to give birth to an African American baby. I was disappointed when I learned I was not in fact pregnant.  2011 was kind of an awful year.

Steve and Kevin are the bestest pals an Ohio Transplant in Oregon could ever ask for.  Whitney is pretty awesome too.

Not only am I lucky enough to have great friends, but I do have a link to family out here.  My cousin Jennifer (on my mom's side) lives in Springfield so I spent Christmas Day with her family.  Her sons crack me up!  I thoroughly enjoyed playing with Jeante's wrestling dudes.  I am totally going to get some of my own...preferably Sheamus O'Shaunessy.  He'd match my awesome Gingervitis Calendar.  I'm hoping to spend more time with them this year and am looking forward to watching Jamiah play basketball and Jeante play football.  I'd also like to hear Drew rock it out on his French Horn!  It's good to be around youngins again.  I've missed all my chids back in Ohio.
